ASI History
The American Safety Institute (ASI), Inc., a driver training safety company,
(ASI) started our operations in 1992. We were approved by New York DMV in August 2004. We begin our New York operations under American Safety, Inc. Our professional safety programs have
made drivers safer and better educated throughout Florida and New York.
The President of ASI, Bart W. Cassidy, has written and developed all of the
companies safety programs. Mr. Cassidy has over 20 years of experience in driver’s
safety and accident related crashes. His expertise and knowledge has produced
high quality programs that have been approved by both the Florida and New York
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

ASI has several companies in the state of Florida that lease our programs.
We have grown our licensees and relationships over the years and currently over

have been reduced by over 30% when a driver completes an effective drivers safety
program.
The New York DMV approved our defensive driving course (DDC) on August 20,
2004. We are pleased to have the opportunity to serve the state of New York.

4-Hour Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course
The 4-Hour Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course course combines
text and animations to create an online experience that's interesting and
interactive. You also must take and pass a final exam upon completion of the
course. You must score 80 percent or higher on the final exam before your
Certificate of Completion will be processed or mailed to you. If you score
lower than 80
percent you must retake the final exam. You can re-take the final exam for free!
